The next meeting of the COA will be on 18th May 2024 in St Martin’s Church Liskeard, starting at 3.00 p.m. Members of the Plymouth and District Organists’ Association have been invited to join those of the Cornwall Organists’ Association at this meeting.
The organ recital at 3 o’clock will be given by Joshua Hughes, one of our younger members who has recently been studying in Berlin. He has an exciting programme which will show off the recently rebuilt organ in the church.
Tea will be served at c 3.45 in the church at a cost of £8/head (please book by 11th May). Anyone wishing to try the organ may do so during the tea.
The concert at c 4.45 will be given by Pelynt Male Choir, with their conductor John Trethewey and accompanist Gabrielle Lewis, who have selected a suitable programme to round off the afternoon.
