The 90th Anniversary of Cornwall Organists’ Association will be held on 16th May 2026, in St Martin’s Church, Liskeard. The Plymouth and District Organists’ Association have been invited, and this meeting is also available to others who are interested to attend.
The day will begin with a buffet lunch at 12 noon and distribution of souvenir booklets. Lunch (£12/head collected on the day) needs to be booked by 1st May. Please email greenjean@hotmail.com to book lunch.
Our President, Father Paul, will give thanks and words of welcome at 2.00 pm, followed at 2.15 by an organ recital by Jonathan Delbridge with soprano solos by Penelope Appleyard.
There will be refreshments with a celebratory cake cutting at 3.00 p.m., followed by s closing recital with the above soloists at 3.15 p.m..
There is a toilet in the church and parking in the streets (plus a small church car park by the hall).
On 11th July we visit St Allen (four miles from Truro) at 3.00 pm. There will be an organ recital and talk by Dick Butter before tea, and a light and enjoyable concert by “Highly Strung” string ensemble after tea. Tea is £6 a head.
